About

For generations, OCAD University Illustration alumni and faculty have distinguished themselves through award-winning work, original visual storytelling, and influential careers. From children's books, editorial illustration, and graphic novels to advertising, branding, animation, and emerging digital media, OCAD U illustrators have made significant contributions to visual culture in Canada and internationally. Their accomplishments as artists, authors, creative directors, educators, and industry leaders reflect the program's enduring commitment to creative exploration, critical thinking, skilled craft, and distinctive artistic voices.

Created in celebration of OCAD University's 150th anniversary, the ILLU150.com archive documents and celebrates this creative legacy through a growing collection of signature projects and artist biographies. Conceived as a living archive, it seeks to preserve the program's collective history and document the diverse perspectives and creative practices that have contributed to its evolution.

Through continued research and contributions from alumni and faculty, ILLU 150 will grow as a resource for future exhibitions, publications, and scholarship, connecting generations of illustrators and sharing their achievements with the broader international creative community.
